Peniche and Óbidos Circuite

Inside of a very well preserve castle from the 10th century lays the city of Obidos.
In 1282, as a wedding present, king Dinis gave to is wife queen Isabel the ownership of the city of Obidos. Until 1834 the city as the symbol of the royal wedding with the always symbolic offering by the king to the queen.
Our tour will take us from Lisbon to the city of Torres Vedras along the coast line stopping at the beach of Ericeira and Ribeira de Ilhas famous world spot for the surf community. From Torres Vedras we’ll take the country road to Peniche, a very typical fisherman village where we stop for lunch.
After we’ll set our horses, swords and armors and ride to conquer Óbidos! Return to the past as you stroll through the old streets and whitewashed houses in Óbidos, and see with your eyes one of the 7 Wonders of Portugal.
