Fátima and Serra D'Aire Circuite

circuit

Out of Town

If you like to spend time cycling, this is your perfect circuit.

We leave Lisbon towards the Castelo do Bode dam, crossing the Ribatejo plains. The road is long and winding with beautiful scenery until we reach the dam for a stop and some pictures.

From there, we continue to Fátima, the capital of religious tourism in Portugal. There are more than seven million people who come to Fátima every year to show their devotion. It is also common for thousands of bikers to come here for the blessing ceremony of helmets. This is the place where we will also have lunch before the adventure through the Serra de Candeeiros.

The adventure continues as we enter the Serra d'Aire towards the Santa Marta hill, the highest point in the mountain and with a magnificent viewpoint.

The return to Lisbon is made from that point passing through Rio Maior.
